The facility is clean and the staff were friendly, but I had to wait an hour after my appointment to finally receive my services. The dentist was nice and friendly. The dental hygienist was pleasant, but I had to wait a few additional minutes because her phone kept going off. Instead of silencing it, she kept going back to it before she began my cleaning. She had her gloves on while she was using her phone and did not bother to change the gloves prior to working in my mouth. How unprofessional. It is a nice place, but the staff and their practices could be better.
I had a deep cleaning done here. My insurance covers these in their entirety. I was charged an additional 600 dollars for the cleaning. I was ok with paying it until I told them I could not rinse my mouth at the end. I came to find out that this is what the 600 dollars was for. Rinsing my mouth with mouth wash. I understand stacking charges and they are in the business of making money but 600 dollars is not just making a little extra on a client. It is taking advantage of people.I then looked into the other charges for pending work I needed done. Dr. Quesada allows his office do what ever they want as far as drumming up charges. I paid them over 2 thousand and now have to seek another dentist because they didn’t like just how aware I had become. They did refund me half my mouth rinsing charge of 300 once they realized I had their number. I only had half my mouth cleaned before I realized all of this.I have multiples of emails with their office manager breaking down what they charge and why. Complete lies. I reached out to my insurance company and got the real break down of said charges.I can only imagine how many people they have taken advantage of and don’t know it.
I was very nervous at first but everyone was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable. the doctor explained my treatment so I can understand what is happening with in my mouth before starting. in this office I truly felt the doc was concern about my health and not the money, as most other dentist I have experienced made me felt in the past.
Terrible experience with this company. First of all, I scheduled a cleaning, the appointment was pushed out 3 months. At the time of the appointment they called and canceled and rescheduled me two months out again. The day of the appointment, they called me again to reschedule . The groupon would be expired by the time I would be seen. I asked to talk to the doctor, they kept putting me on hold for extended amounts of time and then hanging up. No respect. From what I have read, others are having a similar experience and the few who have done a appointment with them have reported negative. Stay clear of this company, bad service all around. It’s rare I would give a one star review but this for sure earned it.

I love the dental care here, and I know they respect their patients. I have been going to Coral Springs Family Dentistry for many years. Every staff member from the front desk, to the oral hygienist, to the doctors, and even the orthodontist, have been nothing but accommodating and patient. I visit so often, I almost have my own chair, and I wouldnt give it up. The ladies call to remind me of my appointments, and make sure they squeeze me in when it is convenient for me. The doctors are gentle, and never begin any procedure, until I fully understand what will be taking place. I even broke a record, when my braces came off in less than 7 months...thank you Dr. Oscar. I love this place, and for someone who is never thrilled to go to the dentist, but has to more than most, I am glad I go to Coral Springs Family Dentistry.
Thank you Coral Springs Family Dentistry for making my dental experience one of the most enjoyable I have ever had. I especially appreciate Dr. Keanes gentle touch, knowledge and expertise. Everyone in the office is warm, friendly and accommodating. When you come to Coral Springs Family Dentistry you feel at ease because you can tell that this office genuinely cares about their patients.
Just left. Livid. Wanted to use $33 Groupon for $200 value cleaning and x-ray exam. Got x-rays and then examined by a dentist who told me I would need a $500 deep cleaning. They wouldn’t even let me do the basic cleaning. I don’t think my teeth are that bad except some stains and I’ve never had this problem at another dentist and my teeth have always come out shining and white when I’ve used comparable Groupons. So I was excited for a week to get my teeth cleaned, left work early, shared personal info on forms to be told it was $500 to remove bacteria. For a teeth cleaning? You have got to be kidding me. Felt like the whole place and Groupon is a scam to get you into make money. Oh, and dentist was text messaging at front when I walked in and music too loud. Never had a bad experience like this at a dentist.
Dr. Patel and her wonderful staff are awesome. Very friendly with my kids, they both love the assistants and they wouldnt go to any other dentist. We feel very comfortable at the office, very professional, affordable prices and the best part...they are always on time with our appointments. Thanks Dr. Patel and staff!!
Worst experience. I went for a cleaning and was told I needed a night guard, before my teeth were even cleaned I had someone in my face with a clipboard to sign off on my payment. My husband went in later that day and was told the same thing, that he needed a night guard. He refused. 2 months later I have no night guard, had to get remolded for the first one because it fell right out of my mouth and I’m fighting for my $200 back. Was told to fill out a refund request and I’d hear back in 2-3 weeks. Called back just over 3 weeks for an update and was told “I don’t know” and I would be called when there was an update but wasn’t asked for my name or contact number. I had to ask the person who answered the phone if they needed the information. Do not recommend this place.
Got a bridge for over $3000 in cash. Extremely painful and teeth dont match other teeth. I now have a lisp because the bridge is higher than my surrounding natural teeth. My tongue has to rise above the bridge causing me to talk funny for years! My bite is also off and I often suffer from migraines due to strain in jaw area. Staff didnt seem to care after I paid them. Awful experience. Its been years now. I have to get it ALL redone with another dentist.
Would give 0 stars if optional!!! Very disaapointed. Got a groupon for a gift for cleaning exam.and xrays. Made apt arrived they took xrays. Same story As the guy be4 a lady with clipboard and a payment plan.and would not do a cleaning. Told me I required a deep cleaning and tried getting me to sign a payment plan before a basic cleaning. For a new patient and them not to honor the cleaning that was purchased.i was told to contact groupon and return the voucher that was given to me as a gift.horriable experiance and very unprofessional. Would never reccomend to anyone.
Very professional Dental office. The office is very clean and organized, the personnel very professional and attentive. Dr Prato was a life savior- To have a dentist you can trust, is honest and professional is a true blessing after all we only have one set of teeth! Thank you so much!!!!
I wish someone had warned me before I went to this Dental office.. I found their method of practice very un professional. One dentist messed up my jaw after oral surgery. Another dentist left in the middle of working on me and asked a young assistant to complete the the work being done. She did not have a clue and I pleaded wither to fix the mistake as I was leaving soon on a long vacation. Well I ended up going on vacation with two of my bottom teeth missing. My visit was to see my whole family and celebrate my 65th birthday. I could not even allow my family to take pictures of me. So dont do it, dont go there.
This dental practice seems to go by various names (see my Yelp review for the other 2 names it answers to) and here on Google it is known as Family Dentistry OF SOUTH FLORIDA. (When I first started coming here I figured out that it was formerly called Americare). Todays receipt (that I brought home with me) shows the name: FAMILY DENTISTRY - CORAL SPRINGS. Anyway, it is located behind Wendys hamburger restaurant in the Burlington Coat strip mall.I had a teeth cleaning service today (01/2019) and requested of the dental hygienist to please be gentle. I worry about how rough the hygienists always are when I come here. Despite my request todays hygienist, Gabi, was too rough.I overheard a dentist & staff member talk about at a regular practice .... I gathered they dont consider this practice to be a regular practice. Something is definitely different about the place. Another reviewer on here- Hunter, I think- may have hit the nail on the head when he refers to this as a budget practice.At the end she stated youre done. That did not seem very professional to me. Yet to my surprise she later came out to the front desk and handed me a free toothbrush & tiny dental floss before I departed.I do not think I will be coming back.
The facility was very dated. Maybe not too bad for a budget practice, but I left because its not worth saving some money when it comes to medical treatment. The staff were a bit on the rough side, Im surprised the last reviewer let her continue after using her phone with the same gloves, thats far beyond gross. 4.4 star rating has to be fabricated.
Don’t go there if you love your Family! Disgusting, ones your star you are stock they’ll will finish (in months) , of suffering.This office don’t even deserve one starFair prices ,but you will pay , later and regret, your visit, they just want offer crowns and breach , painful cleaning,but not experience at all , plenty beginners students, practicing with your Mouth.
The staff is very professional, attentive and curtious. Love the courtesy call a day before every appointment. Im very satisfied with there services and recommend both dentist in the office. 😄😊
This is the absolute worse dental office I have ever been to! They got me to come in for free consult and X-rays. They didnt bother to tell me that they would still bill my insurance! Then they told me x amount of $ by office manager #1 for a root canal. I payed my portion, they couldnt do the root canal but billed my insurance for it anyway. I had to see a specialist to complete the root canal! Then since I already payed them I came to get my crown because office manager #2 told me I wouldnt have to pay any more $ but they charged me again because now we are on office manager #3 and she doesnt care what the 1st & 2nd office managers promised! They ate up all my insurance benefits for the year, I payed almost $700 out of pocket to them and I have to now pay out of pocket for the root canal that the specialist did $1300. So the total cost of a consult, X-rays, root canal and crown originally was $200 out of pocket after 3 office managers total cost $2000 out of pocket. Even after many many attempts to resolve the issue were made this new office manager (#3) told me it didnt matter what the original treatment plan that office manager #1 gave me it was what she was telling me! Do not & I repeat do not come here! I am reporting them to BBB and Ive called my insurance to tell them they billed for services not rendered! 3 office managers in 2 months smh plus the staff is never the same! 2 Drs have either quit or been fired! Shady place I tell you!
I had a root canal, crown & some fillings doneI have to say this has been the best experience I’ve had at a dentist. They were very attentive and made sure that I was comfortable and.I highly recommend this place!!!!

I switched dentist because Dr. Patel was so much cheaper than my regular dentist. I really needed to save money on 3 crowns my regular dr said I absolutely needed. Family Dentistry in Turtle Run Shopping Ctr. had a coupon for a crown at $350 vs my regular dentist which was 9-1200 for each crown. So I had Dr. Patel do those 3 crowns which ended up costing a total of $1100 for some reason a bit more then the coupon advertised...they gave me some excuse about my insurance not covering something or another. Dr. Patel really wanted to start off doing a different one that was not even needed, but I refused and insisted she only do those 3 crowns only. I had my insurance switched back to my regular dentist after she had done all 3, and my regular dentist showed me in easy to see detail how there were spaces in my crowns where bacteria could get in. I switched again back to Patel and asked her to only fix one. She told me, maybe I should stick with my regular dentist with a great deal of attitude. Well, after paying so much, I really wanted Dr. Patel to fix at least one of the 3 that she messed up. She did argumentatively but she did end up replacing the one. I went back to my regular dentist and she insisted that Patel did not fix the crown because there was still a space in the same place where bacteria could easily get in and the space was again over the amount recommended for dentist to have when doing a crown between the gum and the crown itself.The issue is Patel uses older equipment and technology. Her x-rays are so small, there is no way even I could tell if the crowns were fitted correctly just by looking at a 1 1/2 in. x-ray. My regular Dr. has all new technology and I can see my x-rays crystal clear on a 42 in. flat screen in the exam room. I wasted time off of work and so much money. Will never go back to Dr. Patel or anyone else at that office again. I have to get all three crowns redone again, more time off work, and my regular dr. showed me one even had a cavity under it. One should have been elongated, and I regret ever thinking I should try to save money to go to a cheaper dentist. Will never ever do that again! Dr. Patel needs to see what she is doing and there is no way with the x-rays she looks at that she can see anything close up. It is ridiculous that she even tries. And how many people she is doing this to that will have no idea until a year to 3 years later maybe when they need root canals or replacement crowns because thier teeth are infected by bacteria seeping in. The staff was always very nice and friendly...oh, also, dr. patel actually let her assistant take a mold of where the crown needed to be and also let the assistant put the crown when I came back in for one of the crowns to get placed permanently. My regular dr. is now replacing these crowns. She just finished the 2nd one and there is not a chance she would let the assistant do either taking the mold or placing the final crown. If you read this and still go to Patel, please afterwards, go have your teeth checked and ask Patel for a copy of your 1 1/2 in. x-ray. I should have done more, but I just dont have time and all I really want to do is to help others not have to go thru all that I have to. My friends and family think I should take her to court, but I just cant deal with all. that right now in my very busy life....although I was very tempted because I really did not have $1100 to just throw down the drain like that, add in the time taken off for work and it added up to alot of money....I hope others or Patel even reads this and offers to pay me back my money and get new technology so she can see the damage she is actually doing!
Dr Prato and her office staff always make us feel like we are part of the family. Dr and employees had a wonderful attitude and such powerful positive energy. I would highly recommended.
Outrageous prices, tools were not spotless. And dentist said I dont prescribe pain killers like AMERICANS. Told me to take Motron for abscess and tooth extraction. Ive had a tooth pulled before. Motron doesnt do jack! Dont go to these spics.
Great customer service, always willing to negotiate prices for dental service fees, and overall the best dentist office I’ve been to. I would recommend them to any and everyone. :)
This place is a joke, they tell EVERYONE they “grind their teeth” in an attempt to sell $300 mouth guards! I heard 4 people being told the same thing within 30 minutes. Also, cleaning was painful and I could not communicate with hygienist because she did not speak English.
I just brought one of my teenage boys here with a toothache :( he had broken a tooth and had to have it pulled. Dr Bradley and the staff could not have been nicer or more professional, they treated my boy great and made him feel comfortable, so pleased with the experience, were all going back and this place will be our familys dentist. Thank you for such great service.

Would not do a simple cleaning without x-rays. Staff is busy chatting about their dating life and could not care less about seeing patients. Would not recommend.
Madelin is the BEST at this location. She is super considerate ! My ortho is great! My hushand and I have been going here for over 4 years.
No one paying attention to you for more than 20 minutes while waiting.I had my braces three years ago. They over charged me, and now my teeth are damaging.worst dentist /stuff ever.

DO NOT GO TO FAMILY DENTISTRY(ANY LOCATION)!! they will take your money and do an awful job. Can NEVER speak to manager, they will not provide managers name and they always tell you they will hVe the manager call yet, never calls. This place should be shut down!

The worst office I have ever visited. The employees better not talk, they dont help at all. The only good one is Ortodonsita.Just to save a few dollars.I have not gone to some of the appointments, since for a while now, the Ortodonsita only goes on Thursdays and I work that day. The thing that bothers me the most is that they sent me a notification ending my treatment and not only that, writing that I refuse the treatment and I dont know when I refused. Im still waiting for the call, since my contract is very different from what they wrote to me when they canceled me.The only solution they gave me is to take off my bracers and go to another denture!!!
